Principles:
"因 为 神 赐 给 我 们 ， 不 是 胆 怯 的 心 ， 乃 是 刚 强 、 仁 爱 、 谨 守 的 心 " (2tim1:7)
- Fear is not from God but the devil's tool to trap us and to hinder us from moving forward
- The opposite of fear is FAITH! Faith is confidence in God and a belief that His promises are true. Faith will cause a person to go forward, to try new things and to be aggressive.
- The only thing we really need to do is fear God!
- God wants us to walk in the Spirit and not the flesh which includes emotions. Fear is a feeling and an emotion which we need submit to God and we should not let a mere feeling intimidate us.

Reflections:
Recently, i have been overwhelmed and worried by the fear of losing the things in my life. I have been blessed in many areas and many areas of my life have bear fruits and I can see God's blessings in them. Life cannot be more blissful or good and I am enjoying the fruits that God has blessed me in my life after years of struggles and persevering. But sometimes fear creep in and rob me the joy of enjoying these fruits. Instead, i start to worry about the "what if's". Faith is the opposite of fear. While faith is about trusting in God and believes that God is Good and in His promises, Fear causes us to doubt about God and to shrink and run away from things. Fear causes us to be skeptical and to worry while Faith is about hope and believing and trusting in God our Father who loves us. I choose to believe in God's love and plan for me :) I choose to let go for this emotion of fear and not to entertain them. Reminded of Queen Esther, who did not let the feeling of fear to stop her from doing what is right and the will of God. She had faith in God and trusted in God.

Calling for response:
To Christian: How do you want to live your life? Are you limited by ridiculous fears?
To non-christian: We are never meant to carry fears in our lives (fears of death, illnesses, rejection, failure, past, future, loneliness, dark, losing ur love ones. Jesus can remove these fear and show you what life is all about. When there's hope and purpose, life is different.
