Qt:
Just finish reading the book of daniel. What amazes me isn't how God used Daniel but rather what God was doing or had been doing for His people through that period. At the beginning of the book of Daniel, the ppl were in exile and they witness the destruction of jerusalem as well as the the temple. At that point of time i think the people must have felt the absence of God and questioned God. But God rose up Daniel to be in the midst of the Babylon and in the midst God was pathing a way for His people though they must not have realised it at all (Dan 6:26).

application:
Often we doubt God n question cause we don't see God at work and even how is He going to work things out. But after reading this book, i was really struck by the goodness and greatness of God. Indeed He is sovereign and He is constantly at work in His own ways and in His own timing. Many times we do not see it but God is pathing out His way for us in His big plan. I saw how God holds the key to things and the intersection between the divine and human. How God's sovereignty is intertwined with man.

Response:
I responded to God in terms of trusting Him in His goodness and sovereignty that He is at work in my life and in NIE and in people. I don't see God at work or the effects of God's working as yet but it is living with faith through the WOG and the promises in the bible that i want to trust in His leading, guidance and timing. My prayer is for me to fix my eyes on Jesus and be faithful with the little things :) In His timing things will be revealed and i wouldn't want to miss the things that God has in stored for me to experience and the blessings that He want to give me. I wouldn't want to be a fool and miss the good things and plans that God has in stored for me.
