I am so tired
I feel so battered
I feel drained
My heart is scarred
My heart feels so troubled and lost
Loss of emotions and feelings
Just a weird numbness
Nobody can give me peace and comfort except Him
Only my Father can mend this battered heart of mine
This verse He gave me
To scold and to encourage
This light that He has given me
I am thankful
I am awed
I am at peace
